SPORTS and GT’S – RACING CLASS

Sports and GT’s are generally known as “Open Top Sports Cars” Comprising of : Lotus 7 & 23 cars , Harper Sports Cars , Sports 2000 , Shelby Can Am , Nardini , Lola , Ariel Atom ,Nash Cars (SA Build Sports Car) Etc. It is “Generally” a Light Weight car , with a good Power to Weight Ratio.

Exciting to Drive as the “Sports Cars” are relatively Small in Build and Light in Weight (600 to 700 Kg) possibly the most affordable Racing Class in South Africa at present. J

Whilst the Class has been lacking in Competitors over the past couple of years , there is a concerted drive to re – establish the Class in 2019 with up to 14 Race Cars on the Grid.

Racing in this Class is Competitive and also Enjoyable – for the Less Competitive Driver , who wants to “participate/compete” amongst the Sports & GT’S there is a Great Comrade and Assistance not only to get YOU into the Class and Assist you with Preparation Etc.
